 Danielle Groover- Office Manager

Dani joined the practice in January 2011. After four years with the practice it was a natural transition into the office manager position. With her knowledge of dental insurance, she is able to assist our patients with scheduling treatment as well as outlining possible benefits. With her knack for multitasking and organization she is able and ready to handle whatever the day may bring.
Danielle is an upbeat, outgoing individual who likes to put smiles on faces. She is always willing to lend a hand to her fellow coworkers in whatever they may need. She strives for excellence in all she does and believes in keeping a positive outlook. She and her husband Calyn recently welcomed their first child together, Jaxon Maddox.  Jaxon is Dani’s greatest achievement in her eyes.



 Deborah A. Erhardt, RDH- Registered Dental Hygienist

Debbie started at this office with Dr. F. John Sullivan and continued as Dr. R.J. Dietz took over the practice. Over the years she’s had the pleasure of caring for several generations of patients. They have become like family to her. Debbie graduated with an Associate of Science degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Onondaga Community College making the Dean’s List and graduating with honors. Debbie has received Dental Licenses in New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. She also attended State University of New York at Oswego for Computer Science. Debbie enjoys taking continuous education classes such as: Scaling and Root Planning for the Dentist and Dental Hygienist University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. A sampling of the many seminars include: Periodontal Management, Implant Techniques, Oral Cancer Screening, Oral Pathology, Concepts in Digital Radiology, Infection Control, and CPR and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals. Debbie greatly enjoys patients, and helping them with their oral hygiene. she truly believes in giving all her patients the best of care. She enjoys several activities with her family, such as skiing, baseball, running, jet-skiing and hiking. In 2010, she and her family climbed Mount Marcy. She has taken several photography courses and loves gourmet cooking.


 Bonnie Wassel- Dental Assistant

A graduate of the Onondaga/Madison Boces (1983), Bonnie has over twenty years experience in the dental care industry. With a continual, strong commitment to promoting quality care, Bonnie returned to the dental profession in 2000 after taking an eight year break to raise her three children. Bonnie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys the great outdoors gardening, hiking kayaking and camping during the spring, summer and fall months, as well as snow shoeing and snowmobiling.


Donna Purcell, RDH- Registered Dental Hygienist

Donna has been employed by Dr. Dietz since 2004. She has worked many years in the field of periodontics and is certified to administer local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide analgesia. Donna enjoyed working as an adjunct clinical instructor for Canton University’s dental hygiene program. She is a firm believer in the importance of oral health and has volunteered for organizations such as the ARC, Special Olympics, and Girl Scout Groups. She believes patients’ deserve nothing but the best of care, attends frequent continuing education courses, and meets with pharmaceutical representatives to stay up to date on current technology. Donna has been involved with evaluating products for Colgate, Colgate Advisory Committee. Donna’s family is the most important thing to her. She has a son Michael, daughter in law Kayla and 3 beautiful grandchildren, and a daughter Kristin. Michael serves in the US Air Force and Kristin work at Syracuse University. She is always willing to try something fun. She loves the outdoors and has a love for sailing, boating, swimming, cooking, decorating, and snowshoeing. Donna enjoys football and basketball too.
